Executive Committee
Executive body of the Assembly is Executive Committee in which are appointed 7 members elected by representatives between themselves. Between members of Committee the President of the Executive Committee is being elected who also becomes the President of the Croatian Association of the Blind.
Responsibilities and tasks of the Executive Committee are: - organizes work of the Association between two Sessions of the Assembly and executes its decisions; - accepts final budget and establishes work program and financial plan for current year, and submits reports to the Assembly; - prepares Sessions of the Assembly and suggests changes and additions to the Statute and other acts in scope of the Assembly; - monitors, analyzes and reviews problems of the blind; - suggests changes and additions to any act or measure in order to remove any visible mistakes in order to protect all members; - synchronizes and give directions for actions of the member organizations; - cooperates with country and local governmental bodies in activities related to interest for Association; - establishes any needs and possibilities of the Association for some commercial and other activities; - makes decisions in scope of merging of the Association with other groups and associations; - makes decisions in scope of joining the Association to any international organizations of the blind and submits report about such actions to the Assembly on its next Session; - appoints vice-president out of Executive Committee; - appoints members of the commissions and other working bodies of the Association, monitors and synchronizes their work; - in the case of inactivity of member organizations bring up the measures to start their activities; - chooses and appoints representatives of the Association to the institutions where Association has its representative; - brings decision and general acts in scope of work and organization of specialist services; - submits report about his own work to the Assembly. For certain areas, by the estimation of the Executive Committee, it creates and appoints commissions with fixed mandate.
